The virtually invisible aligners, which are made of a thermoplastic material uniquely developed for the Invisalign treatment plan, look similar to teeth-whitening trays. The aligners are custom-made for you, to gradually move your teeth in the sequence determined by your dentist. You will wear a set of Invisalign trays for two weeks at a time. Each tray is manufactured so that the teeth are slightly straighter than the previous tray.
Invisalign treatment is commonly used to treat:
- Crowded Teeth
- Overbite
- Underbite
- Crossbite
- Gap Teeth
- Open Bite
- Generally Straighter Teeth
Many dental insurance plans cover Invisalign treatment the same way they cover braces.
